Rooted in clinical vocational rehabilitation counseling, life transition therapy, and integrative healthcare/wellness practices, HTC’s work ensures that clients align with their truest selves to healthily contribute to society through self-fulfillment. Youth Workshop Series for Workforce Solutions & Technical Skills Training:
This innovative workshop series for upper elementary and middle school students, particularly those with behavioral concerns, ADHD, ASD, and other diagnoses, offers a dynamic blend of trade and technical skills training in fields such as electrical and plumbing, alongside social-emotional learning activities. Our program includes vocational exploration with tailored assessments and goal planning, culminating in an interactive Technical and Trades Career Day. Designed to provide hands-on projects in a supportive environment, Hands-On Horizons allows students to engage actively with practical skills while fostering a safe space for personal growth and exploration.
We also offer:
• Job coaching for trade and technical positions and entrepreneurship.
• Youth Skills Development Workshops (one-offs and limited series).
• Tech Career Fairs, Career Days, and Job Fairs with Trade Roles.

The MOVERS team has a comprehensive approach to well-being that takes into account biopsychosocia (biological, psychological, and social) factors. We conduct research through participants’ engagement in case studies, educational workshops, and community events.
MOVERS promotes integrative health and wellness care (combining traditional, modern, and complementary approaches).
Information is shared through podcasts, quarterly mini-health & wellness fairs, and public forums.

YELL is a 9-month youth mobilization cohort where participants work together to uncover, unpack, plan to resolve, and take action to minimize the issues their communities face.
Participants will:
• Learn how to recognize, assess, and support individuals who’ve been impacted by childhood adversity by conducting grassroots outreach and organizing activities to contribute to improved collective outcomes and overall well-being.
• Actively engage in mentorship meetings, networking events, and therapeutic activities.
• Attend and fully engage in weekly workshops, weekly healing circles and debrief sessions, monthly trainings, and quarterly retreats.

After graduating from YELL, participants can enroll in our advocacy & lobbying program, serving as the voice for youth mental and emotional wellness, as well as the catalyst behind youth-driven policy changes.

HTC collaborated with Hip Hop United, LLC to bring youth a safe space for online and in-person community building, as well as digital media training workshops and social impact campaigns.
*Artists, prospective artists, and youth who want to explore skills/careers in the digital space are encouraged to apply for enrollment.
**In-person sessions are in Atlanta, GA and New York, NY; digital participation is welcome from participants worldwide!

Mind-Body Fit focuses on enhancing young people’s well-being through a holistic approach that connects mental and physical health. This program provides fitness modules, including optional adapted exercises and activities, combined with sessions dedicated to social-emotional learning and emotional learning (SEL) for decompression and resilience. The journey culminates in a student-designed social impact project, showcasing their leadership skills, growth, and commitment positive social change.
*Participants engage in both group and individual activities that are available both in-person and online.
**Youth with disabilities, behavioral challenges, special needs, trauma, or other concerns are encouraged to apply for enrollment.

A vast range of services, including holistic site assessments, student workshops, professional development, strategic planning, and curriculum design, delivered through a culturally-attuned approach to meet diverse needs. (Our specialties include Special Education, Literacy, STEM/ STREAM, and Mental Health/SEL.)

Student/Family Support
Ensuring Harmony Between Students, Parents, and Schools!
We support caregivers successfully navigate complex systems (schools, courts, etc) with resources and guidance for special education, behavioral support, skills training, workforce development, parent coaching, advocacy, homeschooling, and transition planning.
Short-Term Case Management
Our case management services provide personalized support to help individuals navigate complex life challenges and access the resources they need. We work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop action plans, and connect them to essential services such as wellness and healthcare providers, employment, counseling, and more. Through ongoing guidance and coordination, our case managers ensure that clients receive the right support at the right time, empowering them to achieve stability, improve their well-being, and reach their personal and professional goals.
These services are intended to provide post-assessment care coordination for clients who are experiencing extensive provider wait times.

Vocational & Mental Health Coaching
Our Vocational Rehabilitation and Transitional Services are designed to help individuals truly align their life calling (their being) to their work (doing). We support with advocacy, navigating career challenges, skills development, application assistance, and successfully transitioning into meaningful employment or educational opportunities.
Our Mental Health Coaching services focus on supporting individuals seeking to improve their mental well-being and navigate life's challenges. Coaches work collaboratively with clients to set goals, develop coping strategies, and enhance self-awareness. The process emphasizes building resilience, fostering positive habits, and creating actionable plans tailored to each individual's needs during difficult life transitions
HTC’s team of dedicated advocates and counselors provide personalized support, assessments, training, and planning. Our goal is to help clients to hurdle obstacles, such as disabilities, mental health challenges, or life transitions, so that they can achieve long-term success in their chosen fields. We also offer ongoing support to ensure smooth transitions, helping them to adapt and thrive in new environments.
